Thermal Engine

Certifies: efficiency against physical limits

Every energy system has a ceiling — a point beyond which no amount of optimisation can take it, because physics won't allow it. The Thermal Engine certifies how far you are from that ceiling right now, using your own operating conditions as the reference point.

What it certifies

The Thermal Engine doesn't compare you to other buildings, other industries, or last year's average. It compares you to the physical limit of what your system could achieve at the conditions it's actually running at.

The result is a single, certified number: the efficiency improvement available to you today. For buildings and HVAC, that's a percentage. For industrial processes, it's a cycle efficiency gain. For data centres, it's a PUE improvement.

The +10% figure

In typical industrial process deployments, the Thermal Engine identifies an average of +10% cycle efficiency improvement available. This is not a projection — it is a certified gap between current performance and the physical ceiling, calculated from declared operating conditions and energy consumption.

What it does not do

  • Does not require equipment specifications, manufacturer data, or maintenance records
  • Works from energy consumption readings and operating temperatures
  • Does not store your data or learn from it
